SUMMER SIMPLICITY

Shock. Horror. It's blazing hot in Britain. What even is this?! It must be a dream, surely. Where's the torrential rain? Yes, that's right people Britain is actually having a summer and it has taken the population by surprise. And so, with this in mind, I thought I'd explore the idea of simple summer dressing, untouched by floral prints and florescence, today's outfit screams Lily Pebbles and minimalism. With Wimbledon underway (hi, Nadal) white is most definitely the colour of the season.

My love for simple black sandals has well and truly taken hold this summer and Topshop made my dreams come true with the beautiful lace-up, gladiator pair that I purchased yesterday. The daisy, key necklace was a gift from my beautiful friend, Amber, for my birthday and I have not taken it off since she gave it to me, it has a touch of the Blair Waldorf about it *sigh* and I absolutely love it. With some old denim shorts and a classic, Parisian-style striped top from Zara (on loan from my sister, nonetheless) this outfit lets you dress simply for summer.
