It's no secret that I love vintage clothes and accessories and these past weeks have been bliss for me. I have actually completed my degree in English Literature (awaiting my results full of optimism, of course, *cough, cough*) and have quite a bit - a lot - of free time. This means that there will be more blogs and videos coming your way, I'm also taking an online photography course which will hopefully improve the quality and technique of my blogging pictures. Anyway, I digress, in the last couple of weeks I have taken trips to Beulah's Attic & Molly's Den and picked up some little treasures that have me head over heels in love. Check them out below.
Vintage Christian Dior Handbag - £45 - Beulah's Attic
Vintage 1970s Valentino Skirt Suit - £70 - Beulah's Attic
(FYI this beauty is actually my mother's, but a girl can dream, right?!)
Ted Baker Pussy-bow, Sleeveless Blouse - £20 - Beulah's Attic
Lots of love,
Laura xoxo
Hey Laura, great blog! Your photography is looking great! Really good use of depth of focus and focal points in your images. Lovely colours as well. One of the best bits of advice I got when I was doing my course was in posing. If you think of a clock face, and the camera being at 12 o'clock, your body and your face should always be 2 stops apart. So if your face on to the camera, your body should be facing either 10 or 2. Or if you were looking off camera to 1, your body should face 11 or 3. It's not a good idea to point your body directly to camera as it can be unflattering, but there are obviously exceptions to the rule and photography is about pushing boundaries, but its a great bit of information for basics :) Hope it helps xxx
