GET READY WITH ME

Taking a little break from my usual post concerning all things clothing, I decided to take a little detour and try out something that I have constantly seen from many bloggers and something that I find really interesting: the 'Get Ready with Me' post. So, as I am definitely not brave enough to venture into the world of YouTube blogging, I am doing my post photographically. All my pictures are taken with my prized possession, my Nikon D3200. You have my full permission to be completely nosy here, in fact, I encourage it. Enjoy.

SHOWER
This product has lasted me forever, in fact, I'm convinced it's never ending and that's the secret that Soap & Glory have kept from us all this time. I picked this up at the recommendation of many other bloggers and I am so glad I did. It's a lovely, fresh scent, which is absolutely perfect for those mornings when you need a little pick-me-up.

MORNING SKIN CARE ROUTINE
I bought these two little beauties at the recommendation of my favourite beauty guru The Makeup Chair, (you must check her out, she is absolutely fabulous) I am so glad I took her advice. These little gems are perfect for achieving a flawless and energised look before applying makeup. I use them in the morning and in the evening, to remove my makeup. Perfect combination. Plus they smell incredible. Bonus.

I apply my Neutrogena products with this face loofah from Hydrea, London. I hadn't ever heard of their products until I picked this little one up, but it's fantastic. It's perfect at getting into the pores of the skin and really giving it a deep cleanse. I highly recommend it.

To prep my skin before makeup I use three products: Vitamin E Moisture Cream from the Body Shop, Simple Revitalising Eye Roll-on to wake up my tired eyes and L'Oreal's Lumi Magique Primer, that gives perfect radiance underneath foundation.

MAKEUP
My spring makeup is all about pinks and bronzey tones. I mix my Maybelline Super Stay foundation with the Revlon Photo Ready Skinlights to achieve a glowing complexion.
Other products include:
Blusher: Topshop cream blush in Head over Heels, Bronzer: Hoola by Benefit Cosmetics, Mascara: Roller Lash by Benefit Cosmetics, Eye shadow (I use the Mudhoney shade to fill in my eyebrows) Lid Stuff from Soap & Glory and Lipgloss: First Date by Tanya Burr Cosmetics.

My favourite, bargain perfume. My Weekend by Burberry is such a fresh and floral scent, perfect for every day wear and lasts all day. I got mine in the Boots January sale, half price at £25.00. I do love a bargain.

CLOTHING
For my outfit today I decided to go for something chic and minimalistic, a simple white shirt from Warehouse, denim skinny jeans from Dorothy Perkins, my favourite spring handbag from Primark, French Connection sunglasses and aztec print pumps from New Look. Perfect for those in-between-weather-days.

Hope you all had a fabulous Easter!
See you in my next post.
Lots of love,
Laura xoxo
